It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and former colleague Glenn Hadley. Glenn joined RDHA (then named Marani, Rounthwaite & Dick Partnership Architects) soon after graduating from the Yale School of Architecture in the mid 1960s. During his early career he solidified the firm’s push towards a more contemporary modernist aesthetic, as is illustrated in his design of the iconic University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry, circa 1974. He became a partner in 1981 at which time the firm’s name was changed to Rounthwaite, Dick & Hadley Partnership Architects and retired from the firm in 1996 after thirty years of leadership and distinction.
